House rules
Card values
Number cards score their face value, picture cards score 10, and an ace is 11 or 1 — whichever helps your hand most.
The deal
You and the dealer each receive two cards. One of the dealer's cards stays face down until you stand.
Hit or stand
Draw more cards to build your total, or stand to hold. Go over 21 and the hand is lost.
Dealer & payouts
The dealer draws until reaching 17, then stands. A two-card 21 is a natural and pays three-to-two.
Social play only. Alpine Blackjack Club uses virtual credits with no monetary value. Nothing is deposited, nothing is withdrawn, and there are no cash prizes — the game exists purely for entertainment. Players must be 18 or older.
